Four months after the first photos showing the CrossPolo version of Golf's little brother were released, German manufacturer Volkswagen pulled the wraps off the model today, completing the offering for the Polo line.

With a choice of three petrol and three common rail TDI engines, the CrossPolo offers power outputs ranging from 70 ps to 105 ps.

The petrol engines (1.2l 70 ps, 1.4l 85 ps, 1.2l TSI 105 ps) come equipped, as standard, with a 6 speed manual transmission, while a 7 speed DSG automatic is being offered as an option. The diesels (1.6l with three power outputs: 75 ps, 90 ps and 105 ps), advertised by Volkswagen as being the quietest engines of their kind, come equipped with a particulate filter, which allows them to emit just 113 grams of CO2/km.

The visual differences between the CrossPolo and the base Polo version is made by the higher stance, as well as by unique features and additions. On the outside, the CrossPolo features individually styled front apron with integrated front fog lights and large air inlet, 17-inch alloy Budapest wheels in 5-spoke design and silver anodized roof rails.

The CrossPolo will be offered in six exterior colors, with the Magma Orange and Terra Beige Metallic created especially for this model.

On the interior, the car comes with two-tone fabrics (four different color trims), sports seats, leather steering wheel and leather-trimmed parking brake handle.

The CrossPolo comes equipped as standard with electric adjustable and heated door mirrors, electric window lifts, multi-function display with TPMS and height-adjustable sport seats.

The pricing or exact release date for the CrossPolo are yet to be announced.
