The 2011 TTXGP racing season is promising to be even more exciting, and will see a further expansion of the series, with the introduction of TTXGP Australia in collaboration with eFXC/Australian Superbikes. This year’s calendar has just been released, with some events even combined with the FIM e-Power series.
Many favorites from the launch year will be returning to the championship, as well as a new teams from countries as far as Canada, Malaysia and Singapore. The TTXGP World Championship 2010 title is held by Muench Racing from Germany, who are expected to defend their title.
New media distribution deals will see TTXGP reaching its fans across the world on satellite, cable, terrestrial and online.
“In the spirit of collaboration and with the common goal of promoting electric clean emission racing; The FIM and TTXGP have opened the possibility of holding a selection of joint rounds to allow the teams the best possible stage to promote the sport, the technology and the message to the next generation of motorsport. In addition, further discussions also include the wish to celebrate the conclusion of the 2011 season with a single, unifying final event in October,” a statement reads.
