2011 Triumph Tiger Full Details and Photos Revealed

British motorcycle brand Triumph has just unveiled details, specs and images of the Tiger 800 and 800XC for 2011. Both the street version, as well as the off-roader variant are powered by a 799cc three-cylinder engine with adjustable seat and comfortable riding position.

Standard features of the new Tiger include key-coded immobilizer, as well as a switchable ABS system available on both the road and offroad models.

If the frame (tubular steel trellis) and exhaust (stainless steel 3 into 1, high level stainless steel silencer) are the same for both models, the things are different when it comes to the front suspension. Specifically, the Tiger 800 uses Showa 43mm upside down forks with 180mm travel, while the 800XC uses Showa 45mm upside down forks with 220mm travel.

The Tiger 800 also comes with high capacity generator to allow the fitment of multiple electrical accessories for greater practicality.

In addition to that, over 60 bespoke accessories have been developed for the Tiger 800 series, including rugged hard and soft luggage solutions, heated grips and tire pressure monitoring sensors.

Both the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC will be available at nationwide dealerships from January 2011 and will be priced somewhere around GBP7,200 for the Tiger 800 and GBP7,800 for the Tiger 800XC.
