2011 Suzuki GSR750 More Images Surface

Rumored to have its world public debut at this year’s Intermot Cologne motorcycle show and then make an appearance also in Milan at the EICMA 2010 event, the new Suzuki GSR750 is again teased through a couple of pictures.

Just like we saw in the first teaser last month, the 750cc sportsbike-derived naked machine will sport aggressive styling lines, which places it between those of the Gladius and of the B-King.

Using the same engine, but likely with less horsepower as the company’s GSX-R750 model, which develops 148bhp, the all-new GSR750 from Suzuki will develop somewhere around 120bhp.

Combining comfortable ergonomics with reasonable street performance might, however, not be enough to draw attention upon itself, so Suzuki engineers could also look into finding solutions to keep the cost down.

These will include manufacturing the chassis, frame and suspension from cheaper materials. Cost savings could also be seen in the front brakes, which might use non-radial four-pot calipers.

The GSR750 will have a lot of competitors to worry about, such as the 2011 Kawasaki Z750R, Yamaha FZ8, Aprilia Shiver or the Triumph Street Triple. The bike is expected to hit the streets in early 2010, but on what markets it will enter to or pricing details are yet to be revealed.

However, while the US market is less likely to have the GSR750 made available for its customers, the Europeans will most certainly be able to admire it closely and even purchase it. The 2011 Suzuki GSR750 will claim its share of the affordable middleweight naked class, with a price tag set around EUR7,500.
