2011 SEMA: Chevy Camaro COPO Concept Unboxed

Here’s your really cool Camaro that has a huge hump on the front and stick tires. It’s the COPO Camaro, a racing car concept built to comply with the NHRA Stock Eliminator drag racing.
It’s got a solid rear axle, some chrome molly scaffolding inside and can be fitted with either the atmospheric 7.0-liter 427 or the supercharged 5.3-liter 327 lump.

“The COPO Camaro is proof of what a Chevrolet Stock Eliminator entry cold look like,”
said GM vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports Jim Campbell. "Moreover, he revealed that it will make it past the concept stage, since “Chevrolet intends to homologate the Camaro for sportsman drag racing.”
