Chevrolet has brought a small car army to this year’s edition of the SEMA show, pleasing the crowds with subcompact custom goodies and it seems that the company just can’t get enough of it. The proof lies in its latest development, the Sonic Boom.
The name of this car is also a hint for what is has to offer: audio assaults. The vehicle has been gifted with an audio system developed together with Kicker, which uses a design inspired from that of jet engines.
We are talking about a system that consists of a state-of-the-art head unit, ten six-inch speakers and two 15-inch subwoofers, with a total power of 4,000 Watts. Of course, the rest of the vehicle hasn’t been left in stock condition, receiving various visual mods, as well as a long list of tech ones.
The latter include a lowering suspension, 19-inch alloy rims, a new braking system, as well as a set of 19-inch alloy rims. The interior has also received some attention, with the car offering a new, flat-bottom steering wheel, performance seats, Z-spec style pedals and custom trimming.
