2011 Renault Laguna Prices Announced

French manufacturer Renault announced today the equipment levels and the prices for the facelifted version of the Laguna model for the French market. The car presented at the 2010 Paris Auto Show, on the carmaker's home turf, will be sold in the home market for prices starting at EUR24,500.

The Laguna will be available in six equipment levels, Expression, Black Edition, Business eco, Bose, GT 4Control and Initiale. Engine wise, there are also six choices, ranging from the 2.0l 140hp E85 eco to the dCi 180 DPF eco. No less than five of the engines are diesels.

The engines are pretty much the same as the ones used so far on the model, the only difference being the fact that, for instance, the 110 hp 1.5l diesel now emits 120 grams of CO2/km, better than the 128 grams achieved so far.

Visually, the car has to offer only minor changes, which are more visible to the headlights, front grille and front bumper.

Renault will be featuring several new technologies on the Laguna, including the 4Control four-wheel steering system, initially introduced on the Laguna GT and the BOSE sound system.

The top of the range GT, priced at EUR31,800, comes with 18 inch wheels, a BOSE sound system, pearl black electric folding door mirrors with memory, and leather and Alcantara upholstery with electrically adjustable heated front seats.

The extensive equipment options for the other trims on the Laguna include automatic parking brake, cruise control, chrome twin exhausts (excluding dCi 110), dual zone climate control, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, hands-free keycard, rear parking sensors, multi-functional TunePoint for MP3 players and speed limiter.
