Nowadays, the automotive producers like to take full advantage of the Internet’s possibilities, with one of their favorite pathways being to tease the public by releasing images of a vehicle before the information for it is offered and the car is officially presented.

The latest automotive producer that uses this scheme is Nissan, which is offering us a set of pics showing both the interior and the exterior of the 2011 Quest minivan.
The Quest, which will hit the market at the beginning of next year, is inspired from the Nissan Forum Concept released in 2008.

The minivan seems to have kept the principles behind the Forum study: an interior that scores a lot of family points and an exterior that sits at the top of the segment in terms of styling and originality.

Nissan has previously made some bold statements, saying that the quest is “not just for kids”, promising that the vehicle will offer a high level of quality, reliability and versatility.

The precious generation of the Quest, which came to the world via the Canton, Mississippi plant was taken out of production last year, with Nissan announcing that it will move its assembly to Japan (the same happened to the Nissa Armada and Infinity QX56) in order to make room for the NV commercial vehicle range.

And if we look at the sales figures registered in the previous years, we can understand why the automaker has used a radical approach for the new Quest. Let’s just say that the vehicle didn’t actually bring a smile on Nissan salesmen’s faces.

We’ll have to wait until November, when the 2011 Nissan Quest will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Or maybe not...
