This year’s edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed offered the public a new sub-event, in the form of the Moving Motor Show (MMS), an initiative that allowed the customers to get in touch with the latest vehicles available on the market.
Now, the Earl of March, the founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed announced a new partnership between MMS and the Auto Trader new and used car research specialist. Goodwood will also collaborate with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) to offer a more exciting experience for the 2011 edition of the MMS.
“I am delighted to have Auto Trader on board as the Moving Motor Show steps up to become Britain’s new kind of annual motor show,” Lord March said while attending an exclusive motor industry reception held today at The Savoy to celebrate the launch.
“The Moving Motor Show has the potential to be a flagship event for the British motor industry and we are very pleased to offer it our full support. As the UK’s leading automotive website, our partnership with Goodwood as one of the world’s leading motoring venues is a powerful and complementary one, especially as we approach the launch of our New Car sales proposition in the New Year,” added John King, CEO of Trader Media Group.
The MMS is held at the Goodwood Park, as an addition to the Festival of Speed, which takes places on July 1-3. On Thursday, 30 June, those who are in the market for a new vehicle, or just have a passion for cars, will be able to receive personal experiences with the latest new car models on display, as over 20 automotive produces will take part in the event.
