2011 Infiniti M37 UK Pricing Announced

British fans of the luxury car brand now know how much money they need to pay if they want to own the new Infiniti M37, as the manufacturer has just confirmed pricing for the car. Available in five different grades, the 2011 Infiniti M37 RWD saloon is priced from GBP 35,150.

Powering the car is a 3.7-litre petrol V6 developing 316 bhp (320 PS), which allows the new M37 to sprint from naught to sixty in 6.2 seconds and keep on accelerating until reaching an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Also, the car has a fuel consumption of 27.7 mpg (8.5 l/100km) on a combined cycle and emits 235 g/km of CO2.

Entry-level standard equipment includes a 7-speed automatic transmission, bi-Xenon lights, 10-way power front seats, reversing camera, hard disk drive (HDD) sound system and Infiniti’s new Drive Mode Selector, allowing the driver to switch between Sport, Normal, Snow and Eco settings.

The M37 GT is available from GBP 37,650 and adds semi-aniline leather, heated and ventilated front seats and White Ash wood trim with silver powder finish. The M37S, from GBP 39,650 comes with 4-Wheel Active Steering (4WAS), sports suspension, sports seats (also heated and ventilated), gearshift paddles and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Premium versions of both the GT (from GBP 43,000) and the S (from GBP 45,000) add the Dynamic Safety Shield package, Forest Air, a 16-speaker Bose sound system and Infiniti’s Connectiviti+ information and entertainment platform comprising 30GB HDD navigation.

Premium versions also feature Infiniti’s efficiency-boosting innovation, Eco Pedal. If driving too aggressively, the driver will feel the accelerator pedal “push back” to indicate fuel is being wasted.

According to Infiniti, an M30d diesel is due in October and an M35 hybrid in spring 2011, with pricing and specifications of these models to be announced at a later date.
