In terms of exterior upgrades, we have new headlights, tail lights and fog lights, new bumper fascias, side mirrors and window trim, a revised trunk lid and grille plus alloy wheels. Inside, the 2011 Azera comes with several enhancements, including an Eco Indicator, EZ Lane Change Assist and center console aluminum graining.
But the most important change is the engine lineup.
DOHC Lambda V6 unit that goes as far as 19 mpg city / 27 mpg highway. Both of them are coupled to Hyundai's in-house six-speed automatic transmission that also contributes to the low fuel consumption figures.
Performance wise, the 3.3-liter engine now produces an estimated 260 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 233 lbs.-ft. at 4,500 rpm of torque. The 3.8-liter configuration on the other hand generates an estimated 283 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 263 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4,500 rpm,
There will be two trims available across the range, GLS and Limited, both of them compatible with other separate packages. Pricing is yet to be disclosed.
