While we are still left to wonder if the New Mid Concept presented at last year’s EICMA event in Milan will come to life in the near future, Honda decided to further expand its 2011 scooter model line-up with the addition of the new 110cc Vision that can be seen in the adjacent images.

Powering the new Vision is a 110cc four-stroke engine with PGM-FI fuel injection and electric start, returning a fuel consumption of 1.99 l/100km (140 mpg).

The scooter tips the scales at 102 kg (225 lbs) and features a 5.5-litre (1.45-gallon) fuel tank. Also, the Vision meets the Euro 3 standard. Other technical highlights include telescopic forks and hydraulic damping, as well as Combined Braking System (CBS).

Boasting an attractive body design, the Vision provides comfortable seating for two and generous storage compartment under the seat. In addition, the leg shield in front of the rider provides not only effective weather protection but also additional storage.

“At speed both rider and passenger have room enough to be comfortable, but the Vision’s compact dimensions also give it superb agility in tight city streets. The vehicle’s narrow width also means the rider can easily put his or her foot down when required,”
Honda brags.

Genuine Honda Accessories available for the Vision include an alarm kit and U-lock to enhance security, top box and separate top box inner bag for carrying additional luggage, plus a high windscreen, knuckle visor set and scooter blanket

Set to arrive at European dealerships this fall, the 2011 Vision scooter will come available in Pearl Procyon Black, Boss Grey Metallic, Pearl White, Candy Lucid Red and Candy Aluja Blue. Pricing is to be announced closer to the market launch.
