2011 Honda CB1000R US Pricing Revealed

Following the announcement regarding pricing of the all-new entry-level CBR250R, the North American division of Honda is bringing in the big guns, for the more experienced riders. Specifically, the Japanese manufacturer revealed pricing of the 2011 Honda CB1000R for the Unites States.

Scheduled to arrive at nationwide dealerships in spring 2011 in Pearl Black color scheme only, the new big naked bike will come wearing a price tag $10,999. Unlike the CBR250R, the CB1000R will not come with an ABS-equipped version, which will only be brought to Canada priced at CN$13,999.

The CB1000R has also made its world debut at the EICMA show in Milan last month, alongside the CBR250R and six other models. The sporty naked machine is powered by a CBR1000RR-derived 998cc inline four engine that has been tuned for low-end and mid-range power.

Highlight of the new model include side radiator shrouds, fork-mounted cowl fairing, cast aluminum four-spoke wheels.

Performance figures have not been released but what we do know is that the bike meets current EPA standards. Models sold in California meet current CARB standards and may differ slightly due to emissions equipment.

“With all these features and more, the 2011 CB1000R is the most modern iteration of a long line of much-respected high-performance unfaired four-cylinder bikes—the classic hot-rod Hondas,” Honda describes the 2011 CB1000R. “Combining power, light weight, and refined, responsive handling with its good looks, it’s equally at home on a sportbike ride, a weekend-long getaway, or a boulevard prowl.”

The company has also warned that availability on the US market will be limited for this model.
