There is one company you can always turn to in Germany when it comes to American muscle from Detroit carmakers, and that is GeigerCars, a company that has been doing business in this sector for 30 years now.

The company has also managed to secure the limited run 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Inaugural Edition, of which only 1,492 examples are to be built.

We can’t tell you how many examples have been secured for German customers, but we can say that the starting price has been fixed at €55,000, which is about $78,000 at the current exchange rate.

The car that made its official debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas last year uses a 392 cubic-inch (6.4-liter) engine that puts out 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque (637Nm), which is 45 hp and 90 lb-ft (122 Nm) more that the previous SRT8's 6.1-liter V8 engine.

Dodge says it also recalibrated the suspension geometry and added highly damped shocks, while also quickening the steering ratios. New negative camber settings round off the chassis upgrades.

The American automaker claims that the Challenger SRT8 392 "is now more nimble and playfully tossable while still capable of an incredible 0.93g of lateral acceleration on the skid pad – the most of any production Challenger."

The SRT8 392 is offered with the choice of two color combos: either Deep Water Blue finish with standard Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes. It comes equipped with unique "392 HEMI" badges, Mopar quad exhaust tips, a larger front splitter, a decklid spoiler and integrated front fender spats. The car's good looks are enhanced by a set of 20-inch SRT-exclusive wheels.
