2010 Zero DS and Zero S, Just $4,107 in Colorado

Shortly after becoming available for under $7,495 in California thanks to the state incentive program, the Zero S and Zero DS motorcycles also became eligible for the Colorado Alternative Fuel Vehicle Tax Credit. Both electric motorcycles are therefore available to Colorado customers at a price of just $4,107.

The Colorado tax credit, which offers $4,888 off the purchase, will last as long as funding remains available. In addition, the motorcycles are also eligible for a ten percent federal tax credit.

"This Colorado incentive is forward thinking and game changing. By taking advantage of state and federal tax credits the people of Colorado can now purchase a fun, efficient, high-performance electric motorcycle for less than a comparable gas model,"
said Gene Banman, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. "It benefits everyone in Colorado from motorcycle enthusiasts to future generations who will depend less on petroleum and have a cleaner environment."

Earlier this month, Zero Motorcycles announced the launch of its 2010 product line, including the Zero S, DS, X, and MX. With added power, increased acceleration, and enhanced power pack technology, the 2010 lineup is expected to see strong sales during the next period of time.

Zero Motorcycles is also currently involved in its first ever multi-city road tour. The tour, also comprising the entire product lineup, kicked-off in New York City on March 15 and will end in Los Angeles on March 31. The tour will be promoted by motorsports television personality Ralph Sheheen, who has been selected by Zero Motorcycles as spokesperson for the brand.
