The 2010 Camry is powered by a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine unit featuring variable valve timing with intelligence, also known as VVT-i, which develops a maximum power of 169 hp. This engine comes as standard on LE and XLE versions. The SE variant produces 179 horsepower, 21 more hp than the previous four-cylinder engine installed on the currently Camry lineup. The most powerful engine in the whole series is the 3.5-liter V6 unit 268 horsepower that is going to be available as an option. There are two transmission configurations available, namely a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic with sequential shift.
The first thing you'll notice when comparing the current Camry with the upcoming model is the redesigned grille and front bumper. However, there are several other exterior styling changes available, such as the enlarged lower intake, the restyled tail lamps or the larger projector headlamps. The XLE Camry will be equipped with 16-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, while the SE variant will come with 17-inch alloy wheels.
A unique grille and a different front bumper will make the difference between the regular Camry and the Hybrid. In addition, the hybrid also sports restyled fog lifts, a wider lower intake and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Interior feature highlights include Bluetooth connectivity, USB port with auxiliary music capability, integrated satellite radio and MP3 player. The Hybrid adds synthetic fiber and cloth seating surfaces.
