Lamborghini’s teasing has finally come to an end and, as we previously reported, the story isn’t about the Jota.

The Sant'Agata Bolognese carmaker is using the 2010 Paris Auto Show to bring the Sesto Elemento Concept (Sixth Element Concept).

As seen in the six teasers released by the Italian carmaker, the vehicle worships the carbon fiber god. This allows it to tip the scales at an impressive 999 kg (2,202 lbs). For the sake of comparison we’ll remind you that the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superlegerra (superlight) weighs 1,340 kg (2,954 lbs).

Lamborghini, which has turned carbon fiber into a religion, has used the material for the monocoque body, front frame structure, body panels and crumple zones. It was also used for components like suspension items, rims and the drive shaft.

At the center of the vehicle, we find the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superlegerra’s 5.2 liter V10 engine that delivers 570 hp, together with its all-wheel drive system.

The vehicle’s mind-blowing power-to-weight ratio of 1.75 kg per hp allows it to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in ultra-brief 2.5 seconds. As for the top speed, this crosses the 186 mph (300 km/h) border by a lot, with previous reports indicating that the hypercar can accelerate up to 217.5 mph (350 km/h).

One of the wildest sides of the concept is the interior, where Lambo has used composite tubs for the center console, dashboard and seats. As the concept is a moving carbon fiber technology display, its interior also makes extensive use of the material.

Lamborghini has not made it clear whether the concept will make it into production or not, only telling us that the technology featured on it will be found on the company’s future cars.
