2010 Nissan Versa Pricing Announced

Japanese carmaker Nissan has just announced pricing details for its 2010 Versa sedan and hatchback models in the North American market. Prices for the 2010 Versa Sedan remain unchanged compared to that of the 2009 model year, while those for the Versa Hatchback have suffered a slight increase, which varies depending on the enhanced content value.

Therefore, the 2010 Nissan Versa price starts at $9,990 for the Versa 1.6 Base 5MT sedan and goes up to $16,100 for the Versa 1.8 SL 4AT sedan. For the hatchback model range, the 2010 Nissan Versa price starts at $13,150 for the 1.8 S 6MT and goes up to $16,530 for the 1.8 SL CVT.

For 2010, Nissan Versa 1.8 models received an upgraded front grille, new interior fabric patterns, white-illuminated meter cluster and reddish orange interior illumination. Additionally, the Versa 1.8 S changes include new 15-inch wheel covers and new optional 16-inch aluminium-alloy wheels for the SL hatchback.

New standard Versa 1.8 SL equipment includes an Interface System for iPod, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS). In addition, the previous year’s Sport Package body components (sport front and rear fascias, side sills, spoiler) are added as standard on the 1.8 SL Hatchback.

Versa Sedan 1.6 Base and Versa Sedan 1.6 models feature a 107 hp 1.6-liter engine, while the Versa Hatchback and Sedan 1.8 S and 1.8 SL offer a standard 122 hp 1.8-liter engine. An Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is now standard for 1.8 S models that remains standard on 1.8 SL as well.

Fuel economy for the 2010 Versa is rated at 26 mpg City/34 mpg Highway for the Sedan 1.6 equipped with the 5-speed manual transmission and 28 mpg City/34 mpg Highway for the Hatchback 1.8 SL with the CVT.
