2010 Nissan GT-R SpecV UK Pricing Announced

Japanese carmaker Nissan announced the introduction of the Nissan GT-R SpecV on the British market today, with ordering to start from December 14 and deliveries to begin on January 22, 2010. According to a company statement, the Nissan GT-R SpecV will be available in just four dealerships, namely Middlehurst Motorsport GT-R, Merseyside, Westway GT-R and Oxford.

The Nissan GT-R SpecV price starts at £124,900 (based on 17.5% VAT and £405 RFL) and only 40 units will be sold across Europe.

“For a very small number of sports car fanatics, the GT-R is not enough. They have to own the ultimate version and to cater for that desire, we will sell just 40 examples of SpecV in Europe. Its combination of lighter weight, more focused driving dynamics and exclusivity will guarantee SpecV’s place as one of the most desirable cars anywhere in the world,”
said Vincent Wijnen, Nissan’s European Vice President for Marketing, in a release.

The vehicle features various performance improvements over the standard model, including a new high gear boost control device, carbon ceramic brakes, revised springs and fixed-rate dampers. The car also comes with a titanium exhaust system.

Exterior design features include a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a carbon fiber grille, and carbon fiber brake ducts. The visual appearance is completed by lightweight, racing-style forged aluminium wheels that were especially developed for this model by Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO).

Inside, the car features Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats, a Bose sound system and carbon fiber accents. In addition to a revised paint colour line-up (Ultimate Metal Silver and Titanium are not available) the SpecV is available in optional Ultimate Black Opal (RP), a unique chromaflair paint for this version.
