Mazda will debut the upgraded CX-7 crossover next month, with prices to start at 25,785 British pounds ($40,725). The car will be initially offered with a single engine configuration, a 2.2-liter diesel that releases 171 bhp, autocar.co.uk wrote.
There are several enhancements at the exterior, including a redesigned front with new grille and chrome details, as well as 19-inch alloy wheels and a new rear spoiler. Inside, standard equipment include leather seats, cruise control, power windows, a Bose audio system and automatic air conditioning.
It will arrive in dealerships on November 1st, but consumers interested in the model car already place orders.
The new CX-7 went on sale in Japan last month and was offered in a choice of four body colors, Radiant Ebony Mica, Galaxy Grey Mica, Crystal White Pearl Mica and Brilliant Black.
The base model CX-7 has sporty black fabric seat covers. The CX-7 Cruising Package offers luxurious black leather upholstery. Both model grades feature a multi-information display (MID), auto-light system (which automatically switches on the vehicle headlights according to ambient light conditions), rain-sensing wipers and Mazda’s keyless entry and engine start system.
In Japan, the car is offered in two different versions, namely the base model and the premium Cruising Package, with the MSRP ranging from 2,950,000 to 3,580,000 yen ($31,780 to $38,570). Safety features have also been added, including Mazda’s Rear Vehicle Monitoring (RVM) system and Emergency Signal System (ESS). SRS curtain and front side airbags are standard equipment on all model grades.
