2010 Lotus Evora Specifications

Here are the 2010 Lotus Evora specifications we've been expecting for. The guys over at lotusenthusiast.net have published three apparently leaked documents which contain the official specifications of the 2010 Evora, a model that was officially shown to the world at Loch Lomond in Scotland on May 4.

To get straight to the point, the Evora will be powered by a 3.5-liter mid-mounted, transverse, DOHC engine that will generate a maximum power of 276 hp at 6,400 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. Translate this into performance figures and you get a maximum speed of 162 mph (261 km/h), 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds, 0-100 mph in 12.3 seconds and brakes from 100 mph to a standstill in 2.4 seconds or around 33.6 meters.

The Euro 4 compliant engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and produces 205 grams of CO2 per kilometer. As for the fuel consumption figures, they go around 22.8 mpg (12.4 l/100km) in urban cycle, 43.5 mpg (6.5 l/100km) in extra-urban conditions and 32.5 mpg (8.7 l/100 km) in combined mode.

The car's servo-assisted brakes will rely on a Lotus tuned Bosch ABS system with Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Differential Lock and Electronic Brake Distribution. It will feature ventilated discs on both the front and the rear. There will be several aerodynamic enhancements, including a front spoiler, a flat underbody, a rear diffuser and a floating rear wing.

In terms of dimensions, the car has a length of 170.9 inches (4342 mm), a width of 72.8 inches (1848 mm) and a height o 48.1 inches (1223 mm).
