2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, Packed with Premieres

With just a few months left until the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show opens its doors, the organizers thought to give us a glimpse into the event to be held this November. According to the LA Auto Show, the floor of European and Asian carmakers will mean that the show will see no less than 20 world debuts.

Of course, being world debuts, most of them will stay in the shadows until the opening day. The organizers however say the event will see the return of Nissan and Infiniti (bringing with them the Quest minivan and the electric Leaf) and Fiat, after a 27-year hiatus (of course, with their 500 model).

The show will see a wide range of electric vehicles on the floor, including the two new rivals, Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf, accompanied by similar vehicles to be released in 2011.

"The growing global significance of the LA show is clearly demonstrated by the number and importance of the debuts,"
said Andy Fuzesi, general manager, LA Auto Show.

“The LA Auto Show will provide a comprehensive glimpse of the industry's present and future as the industry transforms to meet unprecedented changes in economic conditions, environmental factors and changing consumer preferences. “

As said, the Los Angeles Auto Show will open its doors on November 17. This is the fifth time the event is being held in fall, after the organizers saw that this time of the year is making wonders for the show.

Since it began being held in the fall, media attendance has tripled and the number of vehicles debuts increased significantly.
