2010 Lexus LS 460 Facelift Details and Prices

Japanese manufacturer Lexus announced over the weekend the availability and pricing for both the 2010 Lexus LS 460 and GS. As we already told you, the GS is priced starting from $45,000, while the LS 460 will have a starting price of $64,680, while its longer 460L will start from $70,225.

The 2010 version of the LS 460 comes with a few tweaks which set it apart from its predecessor. For this model year, the Japanese thought up a revised grille, bumper, and headlamps, as well as revised the taillamps, license plate surround and exhaust diffusers. The side mirrors now include turn signals, while the wheels have been redesigned into a ten-spoke arrangement.

The LS 460 comes with several packages, starting with the Sport one. Sport includes perforated Black/Saddle leather interior, sport front seats, leather-trimmed steering wheel and paddle shifters. On the outside, the Sport package makes the LS stand apart from its siblings thanks to an Aero kit – lower front spoiler, side rocker panels and lower rear spoiler.

The second package offered for the LS is the Appearance package, who's purpose, to be honest, we couldn't quite get; apart from the Aero-kit offered with the Sport package, the second one only brings a unique front grille...

What you may find useful, with the cold season just around the corner and all, is the Cold Weather Package. Now, don't go expecting anything out of the ordinary. Lexus thought is enough for the package to come with a deicer, a more effective heater and a heavy-duty battery. Simple, yet effective, we must reckon.

Otherwise, the new LS offers the usual: Lexus Enform with Safety Connect, integrated XM satellite radio receiver and, for the 460L, Advanced Pre-Collision System (APCS).
