2010 Lexus GS Sedan Upgrades Revealed

The 2010 Lexus GS sedan lineup will be offered with a significant amount of new features, with pricing to start at $45,000. The new features include iPod/USB connectivity, streaming audio via Bluetooth and an integrated XM satellite radio receiver that are now added to the standard Lexus Premium Sound System.

The optional Lexus Navigation system is now featuring Voice Command casual-language voice recognition and Bluetooth phonebook download capability. The navigation system will be offered with integrated XM NavTraffic/Weather capability and includes a complimentary 90-day trial subscription.

Additionally, Safety Connect comes as standard on non-navigation equipped vehicles while Lexus Enform, which automatically comes with Safety Connect, is only available with navigation-equipped vehicles. Both systems are offered with a one-year trial subscription.

There will be several color changes for the 2010 lineup. Deep Sea Mica replaces Black Sapphire Pearl and Satin Cashmere Metallic replaces Golden Almond Metallic while the Parchment leather interior takes the place of Cashmere.

Active front headrests will be offered as standard on 2010 GS 350 and GS 460 models.

"All new Lexus vehicles come with a 48-month/50,000-mile basic limited warranty with roadside assistance for 48-months/unlimited miles. Powertrain and restraint system coverage is provided for 72 months/70,000 miles. Corrosion perforation protection is covered for 72 months, regardless of mileage," the Japanese car manufacturer said in a statement for the press.

Pricing for the 2010 Lexus GS range will go as followed:

  • GS 350 RWD: $45,000
  • GS 350 AWD: $46,950
  • GS 460: $53,470
