2010 Kia Cee'd Teaser Photo

Automarket
and Kia-World released some leaked shots of the presumed 2010 Kia Cee'd facelift. While still expected to launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall, some teaser photos made they way into the internet ahead of its release.

The new facelift from the South Korean manufacturer revealed a redesigned front grill with a new front bumper and slightly modified headlamps. Also the Cee'd facelift gets restyled exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals like it's contender, the VW Golf VI.

The photos give away slight modification inside the car as well. The center console features a mildly different setup with new controls for the air conditioning and the audio system and with different buttons. In the center of the console stands a new designed cross shaped group of multi-functional buttons.

The dash board was redesigned and features updated gauges while the steering wheel has a more refined look. Controls on the steering wheel have also been revised and we can expect a more quality feel for all the buttons.

The eco-friendly ISG technology (start-stop sytem) is also expected to be available in the 2010 Kia Cee’d.

While we don't have any information on the engine range, it is expected for the new Cee'd to have the same 1.4 -, 1.6- and 2.0-liter petrol units and the 1.6-, 2.0-liter diesel units from the current selection.

Rumors of Kia developing a hybrid version of the Cee'd still swirl on the internet, pointing to a 1.6-liter petrol engine coupled with a electrical unit, with the UK being the first market where the alleged hybrid will make its debut sometime in 2011.
