2010 Kawasaki Models Promo Videos

After the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer released photos and details of its 2010 motorbikes range, they also released videos destined to offer a view of the products in action. The 2010 Kawasaki Z1000, 1400GTR, Ninja ZX-10R and Versys models are each presented in a short video clip, starting with some stunts performed by a professional rider, then by explaining model upgrades, what’s new compared to the previous version, and the advantages they bring.

The 2010 Z1000 got a complete makeover for next year, both in design and engine upgrade. The maxi-naked bike boasts a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke in-line four 1043 cc engine, that delivers more power and more torque, namely 138 hp at 9,600 rpm and 110 Nm at 7,800 rpm. Moreover, it features a new LCD instrument panel, visible through an orange lens, which can be tilted for better viewing angles.

The 2010 Versys model got revamped, being given a new look with different lights and a new bodywork. The middleweight motorcycle therefore boasts new front and rear lights and a modified radiator cowl. The new front lights are stacked above each other, the new rear light is LED and, just like the new Z1000, there is also a new front mudguard.

The second generation GTR1400 comes with new touring features and updated technology. Still based on the platform of the ZX-14, the new generation GTR1400 adds a number of new systems destined to improve handling and stability. The bike is fitted with KTRC, K-ACT II, a larger windscreen for weather protection, new heat-dissipating bodywork for better heat management, heated handgrips, upgraded computer functions, a relocated glove box, and tank bag hooks, among others.

The last, but not the least, the 2010 Ninja ZX-10R model borrows the looks from its middleweight brother, the ZX-6R, and an 18-position Ohlins steering damper. A new fairing, exhaust, double fuel injection and a claimed 200 horsepower output, and the list can pretty much end here.
