2010 Isle of Man TT Now in Blue-ray HD

Fans now benefit from a different way to enjoy the Mountain course tanks to the latest innovation in coverage of the Isle of Man TT by North One Television. Specifically, during the 2010 TT, all on-bike cameras were High Definition for the very first time.

That has allowed Isle of Man-based Duke, famous for bringing fans the annual Official Reviews of the TT, to release a series of complete on-boards laps of the 37.3-mile course on Blu-ray disc.

“Blu-ray offers unrivalled High Definition picture quality, making the experience of sharing a lap with the stars of the TT even more intense, as walls, hedges and houses flash by at up to 190mph,”
race organizers say in a statement for the press.

Every lap was filmed during racing at the 2010 TT, and among the stars featured are John McGuinness, Cameron Donald, Keith Amor, Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin and, of course, history man Ian Hutchinson, who won five solo TT races this year.

In addition to the on-board footage, TT On-Bike 2010: The Blu-ray Experience includes on-screen graphics courtesy of iomtt.com's TT Live! service and Guy Martin comments on his lap. Also, the pack comes with the same laps on standard DVD. TT On-Bike 2010: The Blu-ray Experience is available now from the iomtt.com shop.

The shop has plenty of other great gift ideas for TT fans, including the Official Review of the 2010 TT on Blu-ray and DVD, clothing, calendars, books, tickets and VIP hospitality for the 2011 TT, prints and much more.
