2010 Infiniti QX56 US Pricing Announced

If you still have a soft spot for massive SUVs, here's the newest addition to the segment. Japanese manufacturer Infiniti has released pricing for the 2010 model of its QX56. Don't expect a major makeover though, but only minor tweaks here and there.

The model comes in either two- or four-wheel drive configurations, both of them equipped with the same 320 horsepower 5.6-liter DOHC V8 and making use of the same 5-speed automatic transmission. For the 2-wheel drive version, MSRP starts at $56,050, while for the all-wheel drive version the price stands at $59,150.

The large SUV comes as standard with an entire array of features and gadgets. They include leather seats, a Hard Drive Navigation System with a seven-inch LCD screen, satellite radio, NAV Traffic (real time traffic information-available only by subscription), a 12-speaker Bose audio system and our favorite, a 9.3 GB Music Box hard drive.

If you want more out of the Infiniti, say a Technology Package with intelligent cruise control and front sonar system or a mobile entertainment system (DVD player, 8-inch color screen, two wireless headphones and a remote controller), you will have to pay extra, as the manufacturer provides them as options.

Being a large SUV, you may want to put it to some hard work. When properly equipped, the QX56 has a maximum towing capacity of 9,000 pounds. Putting traction to the ground are 9-spoke 20-inch chrome finished aluminum alloy wheels, standard on both QX56 models.
