2010 Geneva Auto Show: Brabus G V12 S Biturbo Widestar

Visitors to the German tuner’s booth in Geneva will find a host of severely modified vehicles designed to show the guys at Brabus still mean business. Celebrating its world debut is the Brabus G V12 S Biturbo Widestar off-roader, based on the Mercedes G-Klasse, and with a price starting at 394,900 euros.

The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbo twelve-cylinder Brabus SV12 S engine with 700 hp / 515 kW at 5,100 rpm and with a peak torque f 1,320 Nm (973 lb-ft) at 2,100 rpm.The top speed is rated at 365.7 km/h (227.2 mph), but it is limited electronically to 240 km/h (150 mph).

Mated to a special five-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive, the SUV sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds from a standstill.

The visual appearance is enhanced by wider fenders, Brabus roof spoiler with integrated LED brake
light, Brabus door moldings, stainless-steel running boards, LED lights and larger wheels and tires, ranging from 20 to 23 inches.

The most exclusive Brabus G V12 S Biturbo Widestar sits on three-piece 11Jx23 Monoblock E Platinum Edition alloy wheels on front and rear axle, while tires in size 305/35 R 23 are supplied by Pirelli and Yokohama.

Inside the vehicle, the tuners installed a computer system including a wireless LAN network and UMTS Internet connection. This concept can be upgraded to a high-tech multimedia system with a DVD changer, DVBT TV tuner and a game console.

In addition, BRABUS has developed special consoles for the back of the front seats. They each feature a seven-inch LCD screen with integrated DVD player and an electrically deployed table. The sound is carried by infrared headphones.
