2010 Geneva Auto Show: Aston Martin Booth

Aston Martin’s Geneva booth showcases two limited editions, the V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition & the DBS UB-2010, and the new Works Service customization program.

The V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition is making its world Debut at the Geneva Auto Show. The supercar comes dressed in a Carbon Black Metallic Paint that takes 50 hours of manual labor and multiple quality checks to be applied. The Aston has a carbon fiber side strake, mounted on a black mesh grille. The car rides on ten spoke alloy rims that come in a diamond finish. The exterior also features a bright front grille and standard front parking sensors. Each car gets its own carbon fiber sill plaque bearing bespoke V12 Vantage Carbon Black labeling.

The second special edition, the DBS UB-2010 commemorates Dr. Ulrich Bez’s 10th year as Chief Executive of the carmaker. Only 40 examples will be built, 20 coupes and 20 volantes. The car has been customized by Bez himself and comes in an “Azurite Black” paint, while its interior is finished in metallic bronze leather featuring woven leather seat inserts. Each of the 40 creations will receive a unique sill plaque signed by Bez.

In addition to that, Aston Martin is introducing the Works Service, a division dedicated to tailoring new and used Astons to perfectly suit their owners. The company presents two cars touched by the new division: a Magma Red Rapide featuring a “Cryptic Titan” fascia and door finishes and a Gun Metal DB9 featuring Blue Pearl white paint and an interior dressed in Blue Gin leather & African Walnut wood.
