2010 Ford Ka Announced

American manufacturer Ford announced yesterday the fifth year of production for the smallest car in its lineup, the Ka, and the arrival of a revised version of the car, complete with new Individual variants. The new Ka will come in four redesigned trim levels, namely Studio, Edge, Zetec and the all-new Titanium. The entry level Ka is the Studio, which brings the same equipment levels as in previous years, but adds new rear head restraints.

The Ka Edge, which replaces the Style trim level, adds air conditioning as standard, while the Ka Zetec benefits from a flexible accessory holder and leather steering wheel as standard.

The top of the line Ka is now the Titanium, a version which builds on the lesser versions and adds 16 inch alloy wheels, advanced music pack (uprated speakers, amplifier and 100w subwoofer), chrome handles, tailgate handle and tailpipe and Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC).

According to Ford, four new Individual variants replace the previous option packs, based on the Zetec specification. The Ka Grand Prix includes 16in seven-spoke alloys, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe and a bespoke Grand Prix interior/exterior. The Ka Digital also includes 16in seven-spoke alloys and a chrome exhaust pipe with a unique Digital interior/exterior.

The Ka Tattoo includes the same Digital features with added door and tailgate handles, scuff plates and Tattoo interior (cloth) and exterior. The Ka Tattoo Premium combines the standard Tattoo features with a leather interior.
