2010 E-Klasse at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

Mercedes-Benz is promoting its 2010 E-Klasse model with the most attractive ways a carmaker can during the summer: girls in bikini. This week, the German manufacturer is sponsoring again the Fashion Week Swim this in South Beach Miami, where prestigious swimwear brands are presenting their 2010 collections.

These brands includes names like Red Carter, True Religion Swimwear, Ed Hardy Swimwear, Cia.Maritima and this season’s Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer, L*Space by Monica Wise.

"From the cutting-edge safety features of the new E-Class to the most innovative designer collections, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week incorporates the best in style and sophistication on the road and runway," said Lisa Holladay, Manager Brand Experience Marketing for Mercedes-Benz USA.

With its 2010 E63 AMG, E350 Coupe and E350 Sedan, Mercedes-Benz is presenting the new Attention Assist drowsiness detection system, that emits audible and visible warning through in the form of a coffee cup icon and a "time for a rest?" message in the instrument cluster, when detecting drowsy driving patterns.

Lane Keeping Assist, aimed at preventing accidents caused by drifting across lanes, recognizes when a driver of the new E-Klasse is leaving his lane unintentionally and prompts the driver to counter-steer through vibrations in the steering wheel. Additional E-Klasse safety features include Blind Spot Assist and Night View Assist PLUS.

The E-Klasse Coupe also comes with a new color, Olivine Grey, a combination of olive green and grey to match the Chanel Kaleidoscope nail polish, the L*Space by Monica Wise swimsuits or one of the color palettes used by Maurice Villency for the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge at the Raleigh Hotel.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the 2010 E350 coupe is priced at $48,925, while the 2010 E350 Sedan is priced at $49,475. Later this year, the E63 Sedan, the E350 4Matic sedan and E550 4Matic sedan will also be launched. Moreover, the carmaker has announced that in 2010 it will release the next iterations of the E-Klasse with the E350 BlueTEC and the E350 4Matic Wagon and the E-Klasse cabriolet.
