2010 Chevrolet Camaro Accessories Announced

Every single customer that will buy the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will be able to customize the car in his very own style thanks to an impressive lineup of compatible accessories. In short terms, the new product range presented by General Motors today includes most things you would ever need, starting with exterior styling elements and ending with all kinds of utilities.

Prices are ranging between a few bucks and a two thousands which, once again, puts GM's ability to attract consumers during economic recession in doubt. However, interested 2010 Chevy Camaro can still buy a cargo net for $53.67 or spend a one-month salary on ground effect bodykit sold for $2,212.

Other accessories include rear spoilers, grille inserts, new lighting and gauge kits, shift knobs, stripe kits and many, many others. However, there's no official date for when the accessories will become available as every single component is published as "coming soon". It may seem like we'll just have to wait for more info from GM.

Meanwhile, the American automaker claims it has already received about 10,000 preorders for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, as motorauthority.com informed today, which is at least impressive taking into account the difficult time the automaker currently experiences.

The last and the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro is expected to go on sale this year as model year 2010 and will be offered in three different trims, LS, LT and SS. There are several engine configurations available, with the SS to incorporate the most-powerful unit: a 6.2-liter V8 powerplant that will develop 400 horsepower (300 kW). General Motors last year announced that mass-production of the new Camaro is likely to begin in the first quarter of 2009.
