As we told you earlier today, German manufacturer BMW will provide, for the first time, the M Sport Package for the 7 Series. The package will join the 740d model in what we expect will be a BMW autumn frenzy, as both will be released this fall.
The M Sport Package is made up of enhancements to be brought to both the interior and exterior look of the 7 Series. On the outside, the Aerodynamics Package, an additional chrome trim on the specially designed front and rear aprons, illuminated M entry trim and BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line make up the package.
A special paint work is being offered with the package, Carbon Black Metallic, to complete the other six body colors available as an alternative. The body of the car rides on 19-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design featuring different-sized tires front and rear. 20-inch wheels are available as an option, also in double-spoke design, again with different tire sizes front and rear.
On the interior, the M Sport Package brings sports seats with leather upholstery, the M leather steering wheel with multi-function buttons and the M footrest. BMW Individual roof lining in anthracite and interior trim in fine-grain aluminum round complete the overall feel of the 7 Series M Sport Package. For the 760i and the 760Li, the BMW Individual roof lining comes in alcantara anthracite as well as high-quality wood trim.
As we said, BMW will offer the M Sport Package for the entire 7 Series range, for both normal and extended wheelbases, starting this fall. Prices have not yet been released. BMW Dynamic Drive is included in the M Sport Package.
