Hurst Performance today published the first pictures of the 2009 Hurst/Hemi Challenger, mentioning that this high-performance model is ready to be unveiled in the next few days at SEMA show in Las Vegas. Moreover, the company has also announced the availability of a dedicated website which is especially supposed to provide information regarding the Challenger, with photos, specifications, drive reports and other types of material to be published in the coming months.
“We’re very excited about the upcoming debut at SEMA, and the new site will deliver all the images, information and excitement of the press conference to our friends, customers and enthusiasts that couldn’t attend the show,” said Nate Shelton, Chairman of Hurst Performance.
There are multiple Hurst/Hemi Challenger series designed, with the entry-level version available through selected Dodge Dealers while the top variant is available only through Hurst Performance Vehicles.
The “Series 4 SRT8 6.1 Hemi” comes with Hurst “Pistol-Grip” shifter and Hurst 20-inch polished forged wheels and BFG KDW high-performance tires. The exterior was customized with Hurst Exterior graphics and badges plus a limited paint color series while the exhaust system is based on Magnaflow stainless-steel parts. The suspension system was upgraded with Eibach suspensions with Bilstein shocks.
The interior was also upgraded with Hurst leather with gold top-stitching and embroidered logos and Series 1 sequentially numbered interior dash plaque. Moreover, the manufacturer installed a Mopar/Kicker audio system capable of providing better quality sounds than the stock variant.
