As we already told you a few days ago, BMW Z4 is set to arrive in dealerships all over the world on May 4 and, as was to be expected, news about how much this new roadster will cost started surfacing.
Yesterday, BMW North America released prices for the Z4 on its market and even if it is obviously more expensive than its predecessor, it does stand a couple of thousands of dollars lower then European Z4.
The entry level Z4 sDrive30i starts at $46,575, while the sDrive35i will start at $52,475. All starting prices for the new Z4 include destination and handling fees. There is, however, an abundance of packages and additional options that may place the price of the new Z4 well above that amount.
The Cold Weather package comes with heated steering wheel and front seats, through-loading system with integrated transport bag and retractable headlight washers. The price for this package is the same for both versions of the Z4: $1,000.
The Premium Package starts at $2,500 for the sDrive35i and reaches $3,900 for the other version. The package includes universal garage door opener, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power front seats with driver seat memory, lumbar support, ambient light package and BMW Assist.
As for the exterior, the Sport package provides 18-inch light alloy wheels with run-flat performance tires (225/40 R18 front and 18x8.5, 255/35 R18 rear) or 19 inch light alloy wheels V-spoke, also with run-flat performance tires, sized 225/35 R19 front and 19x9.0, 255/30 R19 rear.
