Reintroduced in 2008, the Viper ACR (American Club Racing) featured the same 600 hp and 560 lb-ft engine as the SRT-10, but it was 40 pounds lighter and produced ten times the downforce of the standard Viper at 150 mph thanks to its aerodynamic upgrades.
Other upgrades included two-piece brake rotors, adjustable suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. The ACR completed the fourth fastest production car lap in 7:12.13 minutes, being quicker than the Lexus LFA with Nurburgring Package and the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1.
Now that we already know how fast the ACR is on the ‘Ring, how about we find out how many seconds does it need to complete the quarter mile. It’s faster than a stock 2014 Corvette Stingray, but that’s all you get from us. You’ll have to watch the video below for more.
