From a time when Volkswagen used Audi tech and not the other way around, comes the B6 generation of A4 Avant, the latest subject of a video from Regular Car Reviews.
This particular model is a 2005 wagon that sports a 1.8-liter inline-four turbo which, unlike the versions we have today, boasts 5 valves per cylinder. This engine sends 148 hp constantly to all four wheels via a five-speed automatic.

So who is it for, this unloved silver Audi from almost a decade ago? Well, the Europeans would have you believe it's a compact executive car, meaning if you see it in the mirrors, you'd better get out of the way because the owner has something really important to do.

However, Mr Regular says the B6 is actually a gym teacher's power trip, the car for the guy who has a reserved seat at the strip club and likes to leave his search history undeleted just so somebody will one day ask "what is fur affinity?".

Let's get something straight here: we all have questionable internet history, since nobody who's got all his marbles would enjoy a Regular Car Reviews video.  But not all of us like to see asthmatic kids suffer in gym class.

The A4's styling is the future in the past. So when Audi says this month that the Prologue Concept previews the design of their next cars, we should actually expect them to look this boring 20 years from now. Mister regular compares the A4 to a Futurama head in a jar.

If you'd like to hear a cover of Lady Gaga's Alejandro that's been re-written about an Audi, watch the video until the end. “Let it bro, let it bro, can’t ho…wait, what am I doing? I hate this song.”
