2,000 HP Lamborghini Gallardo Street Races 270 HP Kawasaki Ninja H2 Past 200 MPH

In theory, a Kawasaki Ninja H2 has no reason to fear a supercar, with the superbike's 200 hp output ensuring the four-wheeled contraption gets left behind in case of a sprinting battle.

And when your H2 also packs tuning bits and pieces, such as the bike in the video below, one's drag racing fears should disappear altogether. However, when a twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo comes out to play, such a Racing Bull should be treated with attention.

Yes, this is the clash-of-titans type of story, one that unfortunately sees the two velocity beasts going at it on the street.

That's especially true if we're talking about a V10 supercar packing Underground Racing's ultimate street-legal package, which sees the Lambo being able to treat its driver with north of 2,300 ponies.

The owner of this H2 seems to be on his way to catching up with the 300 hp H2R track-only Ninja. Earlier this summer, the H2 had 245 hp and 100 lb-ft at the rear wheels, being able to complete the quarter mile in 8.34 seconds at 169 mph. Aside from the supercharged engine mods, the Kawasaki also packs a custom rear arm, which is lighter and longer than the standard one. And the bike has received some extra mods since then, such as a new intercooler and an ethanol setup.

As for the hp rating of the Gallardo, here's the rider's explanation: "He [the Lamborghini driver] was making 1200-1300 in 2nd and 3rd and 1800-1900 in 4th and 5th. The car is good for 2300+."

The two go for the usual highway-at-night setup, turning to rolling starts in their quest to see which of the two speed demons is faster. And while we won't mention the winner, we can tell you their races left the 200 mph (320 km/h) mark behind.

P.S.: Those of you willing to see how this modded Ninja H2 handles triple-digit runs should check out the second video below, which is a... test run for new mods mentioned above.
