Imagine the following scenario: you own a muscle car that's capable of running a 7s quarter-mile. Now that's a real gem by any standards and you can expect your four-wheeled toy to impress when hitting the drag strip. But what if a monster turbo Civic throws the gauntlet - should you be worried?
Well, if we're talking about the Honda that brought us here, the answer is a big, fat yes.

Sure, there are plenty of quick Honda Civics out there, with things becoming interesting as soon as somebody pushes such a compact to 600 horsepower or so. However, the one sitting before you packs no less than 200 mph.

Of course, when it comes to a front-paw machine such as this Civic, more power can sometimes mean trouble, as putting this to the road is complicated. Well, the example we have here has been gifted with tech goodies that allow it to cope with traction issues - the suspension has been set up for drag racing, while the wheel and tire setup is a dedicated one.

Then again, this doesn't mean the Japanese hatchback gets off the line as quick as many of its rear-wheel-drive competitors. But, in our book, this only adds to the show delivered by this build.

You see, this Civic doesn't get along with the road until it hits thrid gear. However, once that happens, the phenomenal power-to-weight ratio of the machine allows it to go past its competitors as if pulled by magnets.

In fact, if you head over to the 2:06 point of the clip below, you'll be able to notice the Civic destroying a 7s Ford Mustang (the inspiration for the intro is obvious).

And with a quarter-mile trap speed of 215 mph, this toy is the world's fastest FWD and fastest h-pattern manual car.

Nevertheless, the rest of the video is also worthy of your attention, since this is packed with brilliant sprinting action.
