With the latest Mad Max movie recently premiered, it's in a way funny having to report about savage fights in the city of Waco, Texas. Last Sunday, members of the Cossacks and Bandidos motorcycle gangs clashed at the Twin Peaks Bar and Grill in Waco. The information is still scarce, but it looks like members of a gang ambushed the others during a recruitment event held at the mentioned "breastaurant."
As violence escalated, members of the two gangs produced knives, chains, clubs and handguns, and the brawl spilled into the parking lot. Witnesses say that more than 100 firearm rounds have been shot. The restaurant's personnel, alongside customers, hid inside a freezer to avoid getting caught in the middle of the fight.

Police was monitoring the restaurant

The police were monitoring the meeting, and say that the owners refused to cooperate with the law enforcement until the shooting started. On the other hand, the restaurant owners declared to the press that they had "positive communication with the police", so until more info surfaces, this remains a fuzzy situation.

The fighting spilled outside in the parking lot, and several members of the gangs have been shot to death there. Reports say that some were trying to mount their motorcycles. SWAT teams allegedly shot dead at least one rider while surrounding the rest.

A massive 192 arrests have been made with organized crime charges and around 100 weapons are reportedly confiscated. Members of MC's associated to the Cossacks and Bandidos have also been involved, with some armed individuals caught as they were flocking to the site.

Eight people have been killed at the site, with a ninth one dying in a local hospital. Eighteen more have been injured in the fight and hospitalized.

The police say that this is the most violent incident in Waco since a similar fight in 1993. A police spokesperson revealed that both handguns and rifle casings were found at the side, alongside knives and other weapons. Thankfully, no civilians are reported injured.
