You know how we were telling about the Honda S660 and its success among Japanese buyers? Well, we still like kei cars, and when we stumbled upon this 1991 Honda Beat, we knew you must see it.
Who knows, maybe you'll be interested in buying it because this baby NSX is for sale on Craigslist. However, you need to know this is a Japanese import, which means it's not quite ready for legal stateside registration.

In essence, the Honda Beat is a rear wheel drive, mid-engined two-seat roadster kei car produced from May 1991 to February 1996. It also carries a particular emotional weight, since it's the last car to be approved by Soichiro Honda before he died in 1991.

Around 33,600 units were built, and that cute looking body kit was designed by the one and only Pininfarina.

Coming back to the particular model on sale, here's what the owner has to say about it.

"This unique car is one-of-a-kind. You won't find another one like this. The 660 cc 3-cylinder engine has been rebuilt, and the entire car has been refreshed. This Honda Beat has been a reliable, daily driver and it is time for someone else to enjoy it."

We tend to believe him, because, at a first glance, the car's exterior looks pimped up courtesy of an aftermarket Lip Kit with side skirts and a hardtop with rear window. This Beat sits on 14-inch Honda HX rims but the owner saw fit to add a Honda S2000 antenna and rear badge into the mix, although we don't understand why would he do that.

The interior is also the packed with aftermarket goodies, starting with Alcantara/Suede seats with red stitching, a Momo Tuner 320mm steering wheel and a Honda Type R sourced five-speed shift knob.

In any case, the owner is asking $15,000 for the kei car and specifies Vancouver, Canada as the baby NSX's current location. Interested?
