Dropping LS1 engines into 1980s Chevrolets and Pontiacs is pretty common nowadays (just like putting late model Coyotes into Fox Body Mustangs), but one Firebird Formula 350 owner decided to take things up a notch by adding a Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger.
The swap turned the clean-looking coupe into a true blue sleeper that has no less than 657 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque at the rear wheels. The massive update also included a T56 transmission and a satin black paint job for the LS1 engine.

We don’t know about you, but this is the coolest third-generation Firebird we’ve seen lately and we do hope that the owner keeps the vehicle’s clean looks. We wouldn’t mind seeing it in a quarter mile battle, but guess we’ll have to settle for a dyno run for the time being.
