Well, instead of starting the explanation with what it means for a car to have an engine at the back (you'll spare yourself the time of answering A LOT of "Why?" questions), you may kick off by showing the kid the adjacent video, which shows what a 37-year old 3.0-liter RSR can do on the Nurburgring.
