Working on the latest high performance BMWs is a delight but sometimes a break is more than recommended. The guys from European Auto Source were in for a real treat yesterday when a 1973 BMW 2002tii stopped by.
This particular model is wearing the Inca Orange original paint that made the model famous around the world and it’s still running strong after 40 years of driving.
With a weight of just over 2,200 lbs (1,000 kg) and a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 132 HP thanks to its direct fuel injection hooked up to a manual 4-speed gearbox this is as basic as it gets, giving you thrills you never thought were possible.
Fortunately, they also had a camera laying around and got to snapping pictures before the Bimmer set off into the mist. Check it out below.
