1972 Ford Bronco Looks Sweet as Brown Sugar, Sports “Creamy” White Top

Chances are everyone has taken a heavy dose of sweet delights over this holiday season, and it isn't even over, right? Okay, we can’t help comparing this 1972 Sequoia Brown Ford Bronco to a tasteful automotive pastry. It’s an original one from the past, as it belongs to the first generation of Blue Oval’s off-roader. Thankfully, it’s not past its expiration date.

Because of the incredible interest surrounding the reinvented 2021 Ford Bronco, even older examples of the series have started reappearing on the front line. And they are turning into savvy investment opportunities since people are starting to grow tired of waiting for the Blue Oval to start deliveries of the modern reincarnation.

With first reservation holders apparently scheduled to receive their 2021 examples some months from now (sometime this summer) no wonder more and more classic Broncos are popping up for sale just about everywhere.

Because Garage Kept Motors usually deals with interesting examples, this 1972 Ford Bronco might be worth a good look even though its price is nothing to sneeze at as it's listed for almost $65k ($64,900, to be precise).

It’s a bit steep, granted, given the base 2-Door 2021 Bronco’s starting point of $28,500 and the fact that even the top-of-the-line Wildtrack doesn’t even come close with its $46,980 tag. But one should always ponder all elements involved before jumping to a quick conclusion.

Aside from the pristine and original Sequoia Brown over tan interior looks, the 1972 Bronco is said to have been through a full, frame-off restoration. That means there’s not much work needed to be done, although we did notice a few reminiscent signs of wear and tear on the driver’s door.

The white hardtop is also original, and the exterior looks as sweet as brown sugar when combined with some white cream and a few candy-chromed touches, if one may be allowed to compare this ride to a dessert.

Its interior also looks great, along with the mileage (a little over 17k). Under the hood resides the flagship 302-cubic inch (4.9-liter) small block V8 that’s hooked to Ford’s three speed automatic. Not everything is original, though: the custom sound system with Bluetooth and an ugly trunk-fitted subwoofer were added later on.
