The 1970 Impala was the last model of the fourth generation, introducing subtle refinements, such as a new bumper design and triple vertical taillights.
Very little has changed under the hood from the previous years, however, with Chevrolet focusing more on the fifth generation that debuted in 1971 and brought us a Turbo Jet 454 V8 unit with 365 horsepower.

Nevertheless, the 1970 Impala that you see here comes with an offer that makes it really hard to say no. It features not only a super-low mileage but also the original drivetrain, the original interior, and a new coat of paint. Let’s see what this is all about.

First and foremost, the paint. The folks over at Streetside Classics, who are in charge of finding a new owner for the Impala, say the Autumn Gold paint has been resprayed at some point five years ago at a Chevrolet dealer, so it’s been made according to factory specifications. The Impala comes with a clean grille, factory wheel covers, and complete trim.

Inside, everything is original too, and even the Delco AM radio is still working. In case you’re wondering how it’s possible for a car this old to look so good after all these years, it’s because this Impala has barely been driven, as the odometer indicates just 19k miles (30,500 km), all believed to be original. This means it added approximately 400 miles (645 km) annually since it was born, so without a doubt, the car was mostly stored inside, likely in just the right conditions.

The engine is also the original one, coming in the form of a 350 (5.7-liter) V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, both working just fine.

And now, the best part. This Impala can be yours today for just $20,995, and the garage has also started an eBay auction, which means you could get it even for even less. There’s a reserve for the auction, however, and it hasn’t been met just yet.
