Did you guys think that Ferrari wrapped in velvet was all that and a bag of crisps? It's not like Dartz invited wrapping a car in leather, they were doing it in the 60s and 70s as well, when having leather on the top of your roof was also cool.
This custom 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle puts a very modern twist on that story with custom wheels, paint and a thumping sound system. It was spotted in Memphis doing its thing and looking hot.

The Chevelle from Tennessee rides high and mighty on custom 24-inch Davin Pearl wheels. They have flat dishes in the same colors as the body over the top of which chrome spinners are installed. The green paint looks like it's still wet and fresh, so we have to say we like that as well.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
