Say what you want about this 1968 Charger, but nobody can deny it’s quite a fighter. The vehicle was originally used as a parts car back in the ‘70s, and despite now coming in a super-rough condition, it still hopes to return on the road at one point.
Let’s start with what the eyes can easily see in the photos we have in the gallery.

This Charger is missing a lot (and when we say a lot, we really meant it) of parts, and this makes total sense given its purpose nearly 50 years ago. It goes without saying that the previous owner removed the majority of parts, including not only most of the interior but also the under-dash wiring.

As if the missing parts weren’t already a major concern, the Charger is now struggling with a lot of rust too, so whoever ends up buying it will have to do some serious patching.

Without a doubt, saving this 1968 Dodge Charger will be an insane challenge. But on the other hand, there’s one little tidbit that many are going to love.

The car sells with a 383 (6.2-liter) big-block V8, and it’s believed the engine is actually the original unit available on the Charger. eBay seller darellchevelle says a previous owner told them the engine was removed and stored separately, but given no confirmation exists, it’s safer to consider the big block a non-original piece of equipment.

The 383, however, isn’t installed in the car, so it comes separately (though it’s included in the selling price).

And speaking of the selling price, the very rough condition of the car and the missing parts aren’t considered good reasons to make this Charger as affordable as it gets. So the online bidding starts at $7,500, though it goes without saying this is a very ambitious target.

Unsurprisingly, nobody has joined the auction so far, and this is unlikely to change in the remaining 4 days until the auction comes to an end.
