Here is another fine example of Toyota’s perfect balance of aerodynamic efficiency and aesthetic excellence switching its ownership - the first Toyota supercar, and one of the 54 US-delivered examples being auctioned.
This Toyota 2000GT is “largely original, unrestored and beautifully preserved” as the ad says and the pictures show.
The only thing redone on the car is the paintjob, receiving a professional new coat of the original Solar Red. The engine and drivetrain remained 100 percent original and fully functional, never being disassembled.
Inside, almost everything remained original and all the parts are displaying few signs of wear.
The car is to be auctioned Thursday, November 21st, 2013. Estimated selling price was not revealed. Check the photo gallery bellow and see the original ad at RM Auctions here.
